1. What is different between DTF printer and DTG printer?

DTF means Direct to Film, DTG means Direct to Garment. DTG is the best known and most used method that can meet the increasing need to create print-on-demand products, such as custom T-shirt or custom jute bag.

Our DTG printer uses two Epson I3200-A1 printheads, one printhead has 4 ink tubes, so one printhead for all white ink, another for CMYK ink. If you only print on white color cloth, you can only install one printhead for CMYK ink.

Water based Pigment ink. Pigment ink can print on many kinds of materials like cotton, jute, blended fabric, etc. Cotton and natural fiber can do better printing effect.

The average T-shirt can be worn for two years, during which time will nt seriously deform or fade.

Generally speaking, if you print dark clothes, you need to use CMYKW ink in 5 colors, and printing 65 pieces of clothes consumes 1kg ink. If you only print white clothes, you only need to use CMYK ink in 4 colors, and printing 130 pieces of clothes consumes 1kg ink.

Pretreatment is a very important step. After pretreatment, the ink can be better infiltrated and fixed.

The machine needs some daily cleaning maintenance. Our machine has a printhead cleaning system, which can be operated on the system. We will give the buyer a detailed machine maintenance document. If you have any other detailed questions, you can also consult our service team.

Pretreatment→drying→printing→drying. Consult the sales for the detailed operation of each step.

Usually three devices are needed: pretreatment machine, printer and dryer. We can provide all these machines. If you want to save money further, the pretreatment machine can be replaced with a spray can that can spray delicate and uniform treatment liquid.
